We really felt at home at Sonia's place. She gave us a great welcome and tour. You can tell she sees her property and her service as a reflection of herself. The house was warm and comfortable when we arrived, which is much appreciated. The house and property had plenty of space, a place for everyone in our family of seven. Everything was quite clean and neat. The kitchen was very well outfitted. Even though it was cool and wet for much of our time, we were still able to enjoy the backyard and barbecue. The outdoor space would be a great place in the warmer months. The location is good, close to a bus stop but just far enough away from the center of town to be quite peaceful. A good bakery and other shops (including a chocolatier) are within a reasonable walk; supermarkets are a little further than I like but still very walkable. There is a walled public greenspace with a playground and soccer goals just east of the property. And it's an easy hike up to the top of the cliff overlooking the town, even with a stroller; it makes for a good afternoon walk for the whole family. Ornans is a pretty town; the way it is situated along the river just makes you want to stop on the footbridge and take it all in as the water sweeps past below. From the layout, decor and location to the amenities and service, this house just feels good. Don't hesitate. Highly recommended.

Superb small hotel situated right by the river Loue at Ornans in the French Jura. Our room enjoyed a balcony with small table and chairs. The room we had was finished to a high standard and was simply lovely. We ate breakfast here and for €7.50 we got coffee, orange juice, pure apple juice from the region, hot croissants/pain chocolat, local cheeses, ham and baguette. There were home made jams available too. We also ate dinner and ate outside. The menu availability is limited but we chose to go for the house special of fillet of beef with sauce morrilles which came with French fries, salad and a salsa or couscous. It was delicious and was washed down with a pichet of red Cote Du Rhône. I would love to go back to the place as it is so good! Ornans itsel and the surrounding countryside are beautiful places to explore. Source de Lison, and Grotte Sarazine are well worth checking out if you like a short walk!

I stayed while walking Via Francigena. The house was comfortable and quiet, perfect for a good rest after a long walk. Great value for money especially if you are a group. Good location for pilgrims. The kitchen is all equipped and clean. The garden is lovely. Highly recommend

Clean room, very kind staff, we had both dinner and breakfast and it was delicious, wellness with sauna and steam was also awesome. No AC but it's in the mountains - open window during the night was enough. Free public parking just across the street. Great pleace to unwind when on the road.

A very good, large, comfortable apartment in a central location, very quiet and with view to the river. The place is well equipped, with plenty of space and rooms for everything. Nicely decorated, welcoming, and relaxing environment. The host was friendly, good communicator, and responsive. We slept beautifully. Wonderful stay.

Great location on the Via Francigena. This is a large apartment with all the facilities you would want. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and had a good night's sleep as it was lovely and peaceful.

Great location just up the hill from the town, so a lovely view and a welcome breeze. Very spacious seating and dining area for B&B guests to use. Good breakfast and guests welcome to help themselves to tea, coffee etc and have use of kitchen facilities. A characterful and charming host.
