The house is very picturesque and recently renovated. You can feel the history but have access to all modern comfort. Room was large enough with 2 balconies and a lovely view. Bed was AMAZING, as was the shower! Walking distance to the boat. In 10-15 min you are in the heart of Venice! We find that Lido offers a much more relaxed and authentic vibe (less touristic), and a great place to have dinner away from the rush of Venice. The owner Sven is very helpful. He told us many interesting facts about Venice, what to visit and how to get there. This made a significant impact on our holiday. Please ask him for info when you visit! We highly recommend this place.

The appartment was like an ancient Venetian house. Feels like your are the guest here. The interioris like a museum but very cozy. Jas everything you may need. And even things for bathroom are very good. The bed is more than cozy. The location is awesome. Almost on the seaside. In the ancient area at Lido island. And the personal is very helpful. And the breakfast is served in the garden. Fabulous!

A beautiful early-twentieth-century villa converted into a hotel. Ten minute walk from the Lido SME vaporetti stops. My room was large, bright, and spotlessly clean. Lovely big windows and air conditioning worked a treat. Breakfast was continental and ample - including home-made pastries which changed daily! I loved this hotel because it was an oasis of calm out of the mayhem of the centre of Venice. A 20 minute trip across the bay on Vaporetto route '1' (day or night) and you are right back in the heart of San Marco.

The location was good, it's fairly close to the ferry terminal and close to the bus stop. There were frequent busses & taxis from the ferry terminal. It's an easy walk to a good choice of restaurants/bars & gelaterias. There is a laundromat nearby. The beach is within walking distance. The interior of the BnB 500 building and the room were very clean & well maintained although the building is quite historic. The gardens are pleasant but garden furniture had no cushions
