Very peaceful and beautiful location. Surrounded by mountains, trees and seas of clouds. The night sky was the most beautiful we have seen in our lives. Yancy was a very nice and friendly host.

This was a it out of the way. Not attractive from the outside and fairly basic inside but perfectly comfortable. We were warned that there was no shopping nearby but more specific information would have been useful to allow us to visit store first.

It was so good we stayed twice! Remi and Toyo really looked after us so well we had a really lovely time. The traditional house is so beautiful and the futons comfy and warm. Overall a great stay!

This is a beautiful and very large accommodation (an entire house), that seems to be taken right out of an interior design magazine! It is clear that the owners and beautifully carefully renovated an old traditional Japanese house. It is a joy to stay here! Night skies are especially beautiful.

I loved everything about it, the location - about 15 min walk to the yokai museum, 30 min to yokai village and cruise boat, 2 shops within 5 min walking distance, a bus stop right outside and train station (where you can also rent e-bikes) 5 min away. The house itself is really nice inside, all fresh wood, smells divine, like a sauna :) Good functional kitchen (comes in handy since all restaurants in the area close around 5pm). You can also go down to the riverside at the opposite side of the street and enjoy an evening at the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff!

The area was lovely and quiet, in the woods and felt like it was really in the countryside. The area around is very beautiful, with a lot of mountain areas to explore. The house was spottlessly clean, and the manager was very helpful with information when I arrived. He went a long way out of his way to help me when I left something behind. I was very greatful. I hope to be able to return some time. The fresh tomatoes growing at the door were delicious and a lovely welcome.
