The hotel excided our expectations! Easy to get with the codes for access. They just sent us two codes - from the front door and from our apartment. Right in the center of the city. Ultra modern, spotlessly clean, very comfortable. We had a big room with fully equipped kitchen and a bedroom. There are air conditioners, TVs, fridge, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, stove and even dish washer! Great bathroom, lots of extra towels. It's a great choice for stop when traveling around Portugal.

The accommodation is in a great location, spotlessly clean and is a great sized room with a king size bed and large ensuite shower room and small but private balcony and is on the ground floor with only five steps to get to the room which was great as my husband has recently suffered a stroke and is partially paralysed. The hosts are fantastic and extremely helpful. They are local and very easy to contact if necessary. The accommodation is very safe with an outer security door plus a further 3 internal security doors to get to your room. Felt very safe and using keypad rather than keys was great.

Very nice place with nice hosts. Very quite and it has a pool + hot tub as well as an outdoor gym. If you love nature and the feeling of community you will probably like it. It has a small breakfast but there is always someone ready to help you out if you need something else. If you enjoy a place that feels like a community with a lot of events (like yoga classes or even late-night fire pits) its the right place.

We received a wonderfully warm welcome at Carvalhal Redondo Farm House. Everything is tastefully decorated with great attention to detail — it’s clear that a lot of thought and care went into it. Breakfast was truly special. It was varied and absolutely delicious, with juices from the farm's own orchard and homemade cakes. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely stay here once more. The owner was extremely friendly and receiving, our room was extremely clean with all new furniture and very efficient aircon. We also enjoyed the pool which was super refreshing after very warm day, I would not hesitate to return to this accommodation it is highly recommended when in CasteloBranco
