Very clean, very cosy. Breakfast is small, but amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The bedroom with the on suit was so beautifully made. The deco is creative. The place was just nice and peaceful.

The staff helped me with breakfast. I am vegetarian and they provided me with good options. I wrote to them in advance, of course. I appreciated it a lot. The hotel itself is beautiful, very quiet, at least it was when I was there. The room I was in was large but each room varies a little. The rooms have a fridge, which is great so you can purchase whatever you want from the nearby large supermarket (just steps away) and keep it in the fridge. I loved the balcony. The restaurants is beautiful and what I ordered was tasty (and the portion was good). The pool is huge and perfectly clean. Fabulous place.

Stayed in exactly the same room as last time. Always love opening the morning shutters to the blue skies, overlooking the olive trees, and the goats. It's as if they all know i'm coming and make it perfect every time. Clean, comfortable, and very friendly and efficient. Why stay anywhere else!!??

I don't usually leave reviews but when it's this great, I have to, and it's going to be long and detailed! I stayed in the loft apartment with a lovely balcony, with lounge chairs, table+ chairs and a barbecue! It is one of 4 apartments this business has in the same building. Everything was absolutely perfect! The apartments are newly refurbished, super clean and attention to detail is in my humble opinion, is fantastic! They have thought of everything that could cater to your needs, seriously! Even towels you can use if you want to swim in the river! The decor is beautiful. They've made lovely use of what is a smaller space. It is exactly as advertised in the photos. They even put out a bottle of locally manually pressed extra virgin olive oil for the guests to sample, and if you like it you can purchase it, which I did. Very reasonable in price considering it is artisan and the quality is high. Quite Literally liquid gold in aspect and an actual olive taste! I'd use it crude only to get maximum benefits! They also gave a sample of natural local goats cheese and tasty biscuits! Honestly so good! It has a very cute, clean little kitchen, equipped with everything you will need and more should you decide to cook there. A selection of tea and coffee is provided, with Italian coffee makers for the coffee. The heating system is an ac heater unit on the wall of the doors of the outside balcony. I initially doubted whether the heat was going to distribute throughout the apartment considering the location of the ac unit, and being close to winter now, but it did! I was warm! An extra blanket in winter would be great though if they wanted to add that in the room to get extra cosiness. Just leave the bathroom door open so the heat can get everywhere. Also to note though that the bathroom has a heated towel rack! The bed is the most comfortable bed I ever slept in, with super comfy pillows.

I loved my stay at Montes das Cerejas. The hospitality was amazing, great people friendly host, beautiful mountain landscape. Can't wait to go back. I thoroughly enjoyed my long stay at Alegria Rustica, Anna and Mark were such lovely hosts and really made me feel welcome and ensured I was always happy and comfortable during my stay. The breakfasts were great and filling, lots of organic items like fruit and eggs included from their own garden as well. A great place to visit for some peace and quiet outside the major cities where you can really enjoy the great summer weather and explore the beautiful nature that can be found in central Portugal. There are some great hikes in the area.

I enjoyed a lovely stay at this converted convent. I chose it as a place to stop on my road trip down the historic N2 highway due to its pet-friendly status. I expected a small plain room, but instead was treated to a beautiful, well-appointed one. I would happily return for a spa stay (they have multiple options on site) or even a few days to explore the area further. My room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. It even included a small balcony. The hotel is beautifully appointed, and I love how they included many of the original features into the design of the property. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and there is ample free parking on the grounds.
