It was short couple break which was planned last minute. We decided to spend it in Qatar, but in a quiet area far from city centre and diplomatic area . Although The OQ was attractive logo, there were only few reviews that can help to make a decision to stay there in such special break, but the price and photos of high floors and sea views were attractive… and thanks God the reality was beyond our expectations. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed with that lovely smile, warm reception and chat from Sufian, Hajar, Yasin and all the guys at the entrance associated with big wows about the OQ decoration and beauty. The team choice of our suite 1103 was another story started from the spacious area,balcony sea views and the suite’s decoration and ambiance completed by special warm and gentle welcoming card, complementary sweet tray and red flowers bouquet from the famous name in hotels’ hospitality Chole Chlala (The OQ GM) which took our breath away:) Mr.Rashaunt’s touch for the red flowers on the bed, Ms. Prushanthani housekeeping team leader added some special warm feelings as soon as we entered. Don’t miss such modern and new luxurious Hotel-don’t wait long to plan your next trip to Qatar- there is a team that is thrilled to have you in their OQ to experience the energy, style and warmth that make their hotel and hospitality so special. From my experience, they are committed to make your stay unforgettable one. Don’t miss sunset and sunrise from high floors which catch the breath with the pool view and landing airplanes to Hamad’s International Airport.

I recently spent a weekend at Abesq Doha Hotel & Residences, hoping for some relaxation, and it turned into a wonderful post-birthday celebration! From the moment I checked in, things felt special. Ms. Sokaina handled our check-in smoothly and even surprised us with an upgrade to a higher floor room, which offered an incredible 180-degree view of the Doha skyline. Dinner was a highlight of the stay. I was thrilled to discover a birthday cake waiting for me, along with a lovely band that sang "Happy Birthday." Huge thanks to the team—Ms. Katia, Kriss, Phyoe, Mega, and Irshad—for making it feel so personal! The dinner featured a seafood night with delicious lobster and oysters. The best part? Since it was my birthday, they generously offered me unlimited oysters at no extra charge. After a lovely evening, we enjoyed breakfast at the Oat House, which prepped us for a relaxing day by the infinity pool. As a final birthday treat, they granted us a late check-out until 3 PM, allowing us to soak up every moment. Overall, Abesq Doha exceeded my expectations and made my post-birthday celebration truly memorable. I can't thank the staff enough for their thoughtful touches!

It’s outstanding! Hospitality, service, meal, the view - all well beyond expectations. It’s new, all so fresh. Little compliments every day, extra towels, good cosmetic in the bath- you made our stay just perfect. We are so impressed! Even mandarin seemed for us less attractive than the Chedi! Ow! Upon our arrival, Juan greeted us warmly—friendly, youthful, yet precise in his welcome. The room was beautiful and spacious, and the breakfast was absolutely divine. In the evening, there was a small misunderstanding with the taxi, which was my fault, but Sandra at reception handled the situation calmly and professionally resolving everything and expertly upselling us by guiding us to the bar. There, Margarita took over and dazzled us with the secret cocktail menu. Upon our departure, Ádám assisted with check-out, also greeting us with a big smile and helpful attitude. We thank the entire team and congratulate the management—this was an unforgettable experience, and we will definitely return.

Very clean and spacious. Every staff is friendly and helpful. Good location, less than 10mins walk to national museum and metro stop. Take metro day pass (very cheap) and can easily get around other attractions.

The staff were helpful. Hotel was very clean. Prices were right when we booked. They allowed and accomadeted an early checkin even though the official check in in Doha is 2 PM. The location is good too. It is close enough to the airport and other points of interest. Further when we were there uber worked and was fairly cheap, so transport was no problem. They have a hotel in the basement with fairly good food.

The staff was fantastic and it was close to the pearl and a mall nearby. The location overall is great and the hotel itself is spotless. The gym has everything you would need and the pool is great. The food is diverse and affordable and they cater gluten free food if you ask for it. The internet is fast and very stable, great for work meetings.

Good location for a layover in Doha: close to the airport but also close to some other sights if you have some time to kill. Had a good sleep in between flights. Very comfy, very clean, and a surprisingly affordable bar on site.
