We had an excellent stay here!!! The location is right by the bus station and very handy for getting to shops, restaurants and bars. The manager (Paul) is a great guy who will help you out with anything you need and is great to chat to. He organised for our laundry to be done while we went hiking for a very small fee. The breakfast is fantastic 👌!!! I think whoever makes the guacamole is part Mexican....

Amazing guesthouse at the end of the peninsula in Kibuye, with a gorgeous view on Lake Kivu. Deborah's house is perfect for a calm and quiet stay in Kibuye, with a bedroom facing the lake. Deborah is very friendly and helpful with every request of her guests, and can organise activities for them. I strongly recommand !

The accommodation is located less than 1 km from the asphalt road and approximately the same distance to the lake, the shop and the café. It has only 3 eco cabins, shared toilets and showers. Nicely maintained garden, beautiful views, very helpful and friendly staff and very good cuisine. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. It's a very nice place, I can only highly recommend it.

Spa Shallum is a gem of a place with beautiful lake front views. Having breakfast overlooking the lake was a highlight. The room was spacious and comfortable. Isaac went out of his way to welcome us and helped to organise a lake tour last minute. We wished we were able to stay for more than one night!

This is truly a beautiful place to stay, and I couldn't recommend it more. The lodges are brand-new, spacious, and very well-equipped, and the views are amazing. The staff are all so friendly and they really go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. It's a great place to relax but they also offer a ton of activities in the area. Wish we had stayed longer!
