Everything in this resort was stunning and magical, all of staff were friendly and very helpful. The location is next to the kata beach and I preferred it, quite and not so touristy around so you can enjoy walking and take a deep breath The pool and floors are lightening at night and that stole my heart & definitely I would recommend it for everyone Thank you

The rooms are pretty clean, comfortable and well maintaned. They have 2 pools, which are big and pretty. The breakfast buffet is delicious and comes with a lot of options, but they don´t change them that much each day. They have a lot of events inside the hotel (most of them food-related) for those who just want to relax inside, as they also have a lot of tours in case you wanna avoid the hassle of searching outside and prefer to book with the hotel. The staff is professional and kind, always ready to help you with anything you might need or any doubts you have. They are well located, as they have lots of restaurants nearby and also 3 beaches at walking distance with the farthest one being just 20 minutes at foot.

A perfect mixture of Italian and Thai hospitality. Everyone working in the hotel was exceptionally helpful and polite, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The hotel is located in a relatively quiet street, a few minutes from the night market and the bars on foot, yet far away from the noise. This was our first trip to Asia, and we wanted to make sure that we have a reliable supply of strong European breakfast and coffee for the start of the day, and it is exactly what we got. The hotel provides free transport to Kata Noi beach, which was really great, and also you can rent a scooter right there. The staff were exceptionally helpful with all of our questions and requests.

the staff was kind and helpful - they were able to provide us with a quiet room they also prepared sandwiches for the road on the day of our departure (as we were leaving very early - at 5:30 AM) and they left them at the entrance of our room - hospitality level: over 9000 the breakfast was amazing the room was great

The rooms are spotless — you can really tell how much love and care has gone into making this place shine. Fresh linens, clean bathrooms, and a sense of order that made it easy to relax from day one. What stood out even more was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. I met incredible travelers and quickly felt part of a little community. We shared drinks on the terrace, swapped stories, and laughed late into the night — all with a view of the Big Buddha watching over us. If you’re someone who values both comfort and cleanliness, you’ll feel at home here. The longer I stayed, the more I realized Alura wasn’t just a guesthouse — it’s an experience. “Dis hier waar jou siel rus vind.”

I loved the staff at the breakfast buffet, the restaurant and the guys at the front desk who dealt with transportation. They were all so kind and tried to help us out however they could. The location was also great. The open air restaurant that was close to the hotel was super delicious and really affordable. The pool with the slide was also great for the kids. They played and swam there for hours!
