The location is excellent — quiet, and convenient for exploring the surrounding area. it took us 10 mins to get to mellau every morning for skiing. Check-in and communication were smooth which made the stay stress free. We would happily stay again.

We stayed at Lisas for a total of 5 nights in the Familienzimmer. It was a very pleasant experience: the rooms are decorated in a simple but modern and practical way - they were also quite spacious and impeccably clean. Dorothea was so friendly, sweet and helpful to us. Upon our arrival she gave us useful information about the local services and restaurants, and a map with routes for hiking, which made our planning process so much easier since it was our first time in this beautiful region! Every morning we had breakfast at Lisas, which was so varied, fresh and delicious, before going off for a hike around the area. The landscape in Bregenzerwald was breathtaking. There are so many hiking options, and despite the neighbouring villages being quite small, there are plenty of options for trying the local food and drinks, as well as supermarkets and other services, even in the summer. In a nutshell, we had such a lovely stay and would love to come back sometime!
