Everything was just fabulous - Oscar and Zaida are extremely welcoming and kind. I had a room with the view on the lake, with the breakfast served just on the lake, and the sounds of the waves night and day. The room was very beautiful, the water of the shower was hot and the bed super comfy. It is a paradise area to rest and enjoy the beautiful serenity of this magic island. The Inca path is right outside of the lodge.

Ecolodge El descanso ligger indenfor 15 km fra Inka Bath og har restaurant, en have, en terrasse og en bar. What an amazing little paradise! I stayed for a few days in a shared dorm after El Camino de La Muerte and it was great! Very easy to get to with public transportation (to/from La Paz). They give you a map of the property so you can go explore all of its trails and viewpoints. Great place to enjoy nature and relax! There are 2 pools and even a yoga/meditation room. It’s a 20 minute walk to the main town. The restaurant has really good food, portions and fair prices.

The room was spotless, location was great and breakfast was really nice. The host family were really lovely, they even messaged us beforehand to warn us of the uphill climb to the accommodation and not to bring too much with us! Would highly recommend.
