We stayed here for two nights during our vacation in Quebec this year. Daniel and Denise gave us a warm welcome when we arrived late. They provided us with food for dinner and breakfast. So delicious. Most from their own garden. On the second evening they gave us a tour through their wonderful garden. We learned and tasted a lot. We would have loved to stay longer, but our route was already planned ahead. I recommend others to stay longer. Lac Saint-Jean and Fjord du Saguenay are easy to reach from here. I'm not a dog lover but was attracted by the price, location and great reviews. Incredible place. Very clean for starters - no dog hairs, e.g., on the inside, which I had been a bit worried about. And to my surprise I really loved THESE dogs - magnificent, strong animals but also well-behaved and gentle. They're obviously well-trained and well-treated. I almost didn't go on the morning walk, and that would have been a big mistake - it turned out (like for many people!) to be a highlight of my trip. I'd love to go back in the winter for the sledding. Also, as all reviewers rightly note, the owners are very friendly.

Although the property was away from the nearby town, it was located in a wooded area where the owner had made several walking tracks that we enjoyed. The room was fine with good views out over the garden area and also had a nice terrace.

Novel experience and fun to combine the dinner in the mill with an overnight stay. Very fresh and well done renovation. We stayed in one of the cottages and loved it.
