The rooms include a balcony with views of the mountain. I loved the owners they were so sweet and friendly. And their child was sooo cuute. They organized me a very good guide to hike to the volcano. His name was Du Santos and he was really really a nice guy. During the trip he learned us a little bite Kreol and told us something about Fogo. I liked the accomodation very much, it was clean and confortable. The owner cooked also excellent. So thank you! Obrigada❤️

The place was perfect for us: great location, wonderfull view on the caldeira and on the volcano, quality of the staff, size of the room, good food made by them. They have done everything to feel at home. Take time to discuss with Adriano, he has many stories to tell you about the caldeira and about Fogo. They are some of the most warm, welcoming and kind people we have ever met! Their property is in an incredible spot in the caldera with views all around. From the airport pick up, to the amazing home cooked meals, to our guided hike, everything was just great. Highly highly recommend staying here!!

There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. Sonia is a brilliant host and makes you feel at home right from the start. She connected me with a guide for hike up the volcano. The breakfast pastry, the desserts were really nice. And Ze drove me from and to the aerodrome and helped bridging the language barrier.

Located in São Filipe, 1 km from Sao Filipe Beach, Fogo Boutique Hotel provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. With a terrace, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Guests can make use of a bar. At first, we were a bit hesitant due to a few very harsh negative reviews, despite the majority being positive. That's why we wanted to share our own experience. We stayed in the Sal Room, the most affordable option at the hotel, and for €90, everything was perfect. The view alone was worth the price, not to mention the warm and genuinely welcoming staff, who seemed even happier to host us than we were to be there. Fogo Boutique Hotel is a small oasis on the island. While there are some limitations, it is undoubtedly the best option in the region. We will definitely be back!
