Within 8-10 min walk to all shops and restaurants in the main area of the centre. The place was immaculately clean. They had everything you would need. The beds were very comfortable including the sofa bed. All towels were big and soft and bed sheets were nice. They even left us some water and local beers in the fridge. The place was spacious for 3 people. The best part of the stay was how helpful and friendly the staff were. Communication with Janete was very easy and Sylvia who takes care of the rooms made sure we had everything we needed. They let us keep our luggages in the building until it was time to go to the bus station which was much appreciated. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend! 10/10

Great location on a quiet plaza used by locals with trees, a fountain, and a children's playground. Several live music venues, dozens of restaurants, bars, outdoor cafes, and a string of other gorgeous fountain plazas within blocks--but quiet here! A couple blocks to the Cathedral and center of city. Walking distance to the interesting neighborhoods and sites. Our room was spacious, nice kitchenette (including espresso maker and coffee), comfy couch, & separate bedroom with comfy bed. In a historic building---a "palace" built in 1620--around a fountain courtyard, now covered! Owners (generally there in am) were generous with their help: recommendations to sites, restaurants, live music, transportation, and healthcare. Like family. If you arrive before check-in time (as we did) you can enter with a code they provide and store your luggage in a storeroom (also secured with a code). We'll be back!
