There is a locker downstairs for all ski/snow equipment, as well as a room for waxing and fixing snowboards which was great! being able to do laundry and use the drying cabinet was also very useful. bed were comfortable and we got plenty of good sleep.

I wasn't expecting a private sauna in the bathroom when I booked (I'm not sure if they advertise that clearly but it was definitely a cool bonus) it heated up properly too (100C+). Facilities are great, lots of cutlery and plates etc, new kitchen facilities. It worked great for me as a night stopover on my road trip.

Ylläs Ski Resort is 2.7 km away. We’ve had an amazing week in Simon’s cottage! The location and the cottage were perfect. Simon always replies very quick and is happy to help out with everything. The sauna is amazing after a cold day in the snow. I can’t wait to go back some day!

We booked this place last minute and Petra was very friendly providing all the details needed for check in and check out. The accommodation was clean and had everything needed to sleep (excellent mattress, blanket and pillows), cook and enjoy a good time watching TV or reading a book next to the big windows. Use of the sauna is included in the price and it was amazing to end the hiking day with a relaxing sauna session. The parking spot right next to the house is a plus. Also, the house is located 5 min away by car to the nearest K-supermarket and pharmacy. The Kellokas visitor centre is also 10 min away by car, where many hiking trails start from. Definitely a comfortable and beautiful place to come back!
