The host, Michael, greeted us on arrival, helped us settle into our comfortable room and called to book us a table at the best restaurant in town for dinner. There is a lovely and eclectic dining room with a sitting area that has tea, coffee and cake available at any time. Definitely a win for me! The breakfast is cooked to order, with full English, Vegetarian and Vegan options as well as cereal and fruit juice. Wooler itself is a charming town with a lot of restaurants, cafes and local shops and it's a short distance to any number of excellent hikes and historic sites. We especially enjoyed Chillingham castle.
