The Miglari is a stylish and traditional boutique hotel and you can feel the the love and effort that has gone into restoring the building. Dimitri, the hotel manager, is a very welcoming host full of knowledge and passion for the town and surrounding areas. There are numerous hikes and walks straight out of the town. Stemnitsa didn’t feel touristy like some of the other mountain towns we visited. It has a lovely relaxed and local vibe which you can enjoy just by sitting down at the little square for hours. We feel very lucky to have stayed here.

The facilities were newly built and the owner was very polite and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed, with a touch of style and comfort. The bed was big enough and comfortable. Breakfast was well rounded with all the essentials, meaning eggs, ham and cheese, vegetables etc but also greek yogurt with (quality) cereals and some local food like spinach pie. There is a parking facility for the guests just 1-2 minutes away from the hotel. Wifi was good enough for streaming without issues. The room included a smart TV and a Bluetooth speaker and we had a few treats waiting for us in the mini fridge of the room. Finally, the hotel is located only a few minutes away from the village's center. Overall: Very satisfied and would recommend it.

The reviews that I read about this rental was that the hostess leaves eggs in the fridge for the guest to eat. This is true. I happened to have some leftover pork from where I ate lunch before checking in. So I warmed up the pork, shredded it, and scrambled some eggs with the shredded pork for breakfast. Nice way to start the day. There was also a working washing machine that allowed me to clean my clothes.
