I really enjoyed staying at Electra Suites on my recent trip to Samothraki! I only got to stay for two nights but will definitely go back next time I visit the island. Stelios is a generous host and went above and beyond to make sure I had a good trip– in fact, on my first day, he actually drove me around the island himself so that I could visit the Sanctuary of the Great Gods and Chora! Even with the language barrier, we had a pleasant time conversing via Google Translate. The other staff at the hotel were friendly and made me feel at home. Overall, a lovely group of people to spend a long weekend with. I value peace & quiet when I travel, and so I appreciated staying somewhere without street traffic or restaurant sounds that was still close to the amenities. Stelios recommended a taverna with good food about a five minute walk from the restaurant, and I went back there several times. The name was Sta Kala Kathoumena and the walk takes you through the church's courtyard. If you can, I do recommend renting a car or a motorbike to get around the island– I came during the off-season and didn't realize how limited the public transit options were. I appreciated Stelios taking the time to drive me around, but I also knew he was busy running the hotel! The taxi stand on the waterfront is an easy walk- bring cash. I also spotted a scooter rental on the main drag. I have trouble sleeping, and felt very safe walking around Kamariotissa at night while trying to settle my thoughts. Stay aware of your surroundings and carry a flashlight for visibility, as there are few sidewalks in the side streets and you'll want to quickly get out of the way when people are driving through. Wherever you are in the village, you'll be able to see Mt. Saos or the sea. Rooms: The rooms were very clean, comfortable and modern. The location is undoubtfully the best in terms of the perfect match between accessibility and privacy. Clean and cozy rooms with outstanding services. My next stay will definitely be at Akrotiri Studios again. It was such a delightful experience.

Liostasi Cottage er et overnatningssted med en have og en terrasse der ligger i Kariotes, 4,1 km fra Fonias Falls, 4,7 km fra Archaeological Museum of Samothrace og 4,8 km fra Archaeological Museum. We loved everything about the place- cosy, comfortable, tastefully decorated , well furnished with everything we needed. The garden is amazing, basically an olive grove with a carpet of green grass and multiple areas with chairs, tables, a hammock. The double bed is very comfortable with a ceiling fan overhead if you don't want to use the AC. There are two rooms and a kitchen so a family can stay comfortably. It was great value for money and we definitely recommend it!
