Very spacious and clean flat with original and beautiful decoration. Moreover it’s in the heart of Dogo Onsen so you can walk easily and quickly to the main attractions from there. The staff was more than helpful and accommodating with us and they went above and beyond with all our requests, I could not recommend enough Entei villa, it was the most luxurious stay of my one-month trip all around Japan.

I like a softer bed and many are on the harder side in Japan, the beds were perfect and cozy after a day of riding the Shimanami. Not sure if this was a ryokan, but comfortable stay regardless. Location is a bit off the main road and up a hill. Close to Ōyamazumi Shrine and the main shopping street. Host very friendly and accommodating. This is an older house, and the rooms aren't soundproof. You're able to hear other guests talking in the common area downstairs. But it didn't bother me, and I was still able to go to bed early. The sounds just felt like being in a house with family. Washer and dryer are free to use.

It’s a surprise. It’s very peaceful and 神社 is just outside the window. The food of the restaurant the owner helped to reserve is very delicious. Strongly recommend.

The host was so friendly and accommodating. we wished we had stayed here for more than a day. The kids were so attracted to the Atari TV game console and it brought back such fond memories for us. House was super clean and modern, and well equipped. we loved the comfort of sleeping on plush futons in the tatami bedrooms. Unit was only 3 minutes from a huge super mart. Highly recommended.

This lovely traditional Japanese house was a wonderful place to stay on our bike trip. While neither party could speak the other's language very well, we were able to communicate fine. The luxury touches in the beautiful and spacious rooms made everything feel welcoming. If you like fish, make sure to order the kaiseki meal that the hosts will prepare for you. It is worth every penny. They also offer a simple but elegant breakfast included in the stay. We started calling this the "it's all downhill from here house" because we knew we wouldn't be staying in anything as grand for the rest of our trip.
