SeaSense Boutique Hotel ligt in Belle Mare en is een 5-sterrenhotel aan het strand met kamers met uitzicht op zee. The staff was extremely helpful from the moment we arrived until we left. There was a good selection of food, rooms were cleaned daily with care and the spa was fantastic.

Our junior suite was clean and spacious and conveniently located next to a swimming pool. The hotel is 25 years old, but it is kept in a pristine condition. There are a lot of top-class amenities and a number of high-quality restaurants — we liked every dish we had during our stay. Both swimming pools are exceptional, and there is a wine cellar and a sauna. Above all, we enjoyed a library. You literally have to go for One&Only, which is in a totally different price range, to (slightly) beat Prince Maurice when it comes to the quality of the facility. Senior staff members in WhatsApp concierge service (such as Imtiaz, Yash and Phoung) are qualified and helpful with reservation of restaurants and activities. When our return flight was cancelled due to a strike, they managed to prolong our stay for one night — despite a short notice and low availability during high season. We specifically looked for a hideaway resort, hence we enjoyed the distant location of Prince Maurice and absolute silence at nights. Those looking for nightlife and Mauritian street vibes should consider hotels located in the coastal towns.

AHAVAH is gelegen op minder dan 1 km van Plage Trou d'Eau Douce, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, een terras en roomservice. Zowel WiFi als privéparkeren is bij het appartement gratis beschikbaar. De kamer was zeer proper en had alle benodigdheden. Het ontbijt was super en de host en familie waren zeer vriendelijk, bereikbaar en behulpzaam.

We liked almost everything about the property. The location was fantastic… very short walks to various restaurants… short walk to town… extremely easy access to boats to Isle aux Cerfs. The property itself was very clean, updated and nicely decorated. We were in room 3 which was very spacious with a lovely balcony facing the main road and sea. Also, it’s family run and the service was wonderful. Breakfast was also delicious.

Jay is a great host. You feel at home anytime and he is very helpful for advices, local options and even support for activity booking. The breakfast in the garden is wonderful! Fresh and tasty and just perfect to start a great day. The room is large, gets a balcony facing the garden, is very clean and has a small en-suite kitchen and bathroom. Possibility to park next the house. It is located aside the main road which means more peacefull. Some restaurant options are located 300m away.

Casa Frangipani Mauritius is gelegen op 7 minuten lopen van Plage Trou d'Eau Douce en biedt een tuin. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een balkon en gratis WiFi. We had the studio upstairs. The apartment had everything you could need. Kerstan the host was excellent and could not have been more helpful. She is ver approachable and gave us great tips about places to go and where to eat. She even booked us a table ahead of time as we were arriving over Christmas. Kerstan suggested excursions and even dropped us to the boat. We would definitely recommend Casa Frangipani to anyone coming to Mauritius

Riverside Holiday Home ligt in Grande Rivière Sud Est, op 5,7 km van golfbaan Le Touessrok, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de zee. We liked everythig about this property and Hosts. Rajesh and his wife are great people and willing to help on a moments notice. We would come back to them in the future. Our Horisun offers a nature-inspired retreat located in the heart of a charming Mauritian village, where you can experience the authentic local lifestyle. There was much to like about our stay - the room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a good shower. The location - a short drive from the main Belle Mare beach and not too far from the main regional hub of Flacq (with its twice weekly market and also Super-U for those who prefer more modern facilities) - was good and the walk from the accommodation to the dining area through an abundance of local floral was a delight. But biggest praise must go to owners Roshan and Sang (and their son Kite) who were so warm and welcoming - they made each guest feel like a VIP, nothing was too much trouble for them and the food (breakfast and dinner) freshly prepared by Sang each day was varied but always delicious. We had a wonderful stay with no complaints whatsoever. Well, actually, just one - we never did get to see Roshan feeding the Dodo.

Studio Manguillier biedt een barbecue en ligt in Trou d 'Eau Douce, op 33 km van Grand Baie. Flic-en-Flac bevindt zich op 45 km van de accommodatie. Tip: om naar Iles aux Cerfs te gaan: google op Public Boat Pier (naast Pointe Maurice): voor 450 roepie retour ga je naar Sands Bar inclusief strandbed, parasol en welkomdrankje.
