My husband did not understand that they had to light the fires and he thought we were in distress.

Guided tours well-organized and informative (the elephant drive was absolutely amazing!). Food and drinks delicious, with best breakfast in Namibia (what an incredible spread).

This was our favourite campsite during our 2-week roadtrip in Namibia. The location is very peaceful and safe. The space is huge, a large private plot with a bathroom, a toilette, an outdoor dishwashing area and a BBQ area. Everything was crystal clear, spacious, cozy, therevwasbhot water every time. We could buy delicious meat from the owners and grilled it on the fire - it was great :) The son of the owner was super kind and helpful. I fully recommend this campsite, especially for those on a roadtrip with a tented car. This clean and peaceful location was such a relief after the other crowded campsites.

Der er bar, og der tilbydes gratis WiFi og gratis parkering.... Wow, this was a really great experience! It's a beautiful lodge, very deep into nature. We did the day into the riverbed to spot desert-adapted elephants. Ut was such a great experience! It started with: "It's 200km of nature from here to the ocean". We were lucky to find elephants, but also enjoyed the trip and surroundings very much, and the way the owner took us along everything he knows about the valley. Very much worth the trip! On a totally different level, we had some car problems with the battery. They owner plus the maintenance manager of the property fixed everything: "No worries, you guys have vacation, we'll fix it, you will be able to drive again tomorrow". Next morning, they had found that both our batteries were dead and had replaced it with a spare one from the owners car! Also good to mention, all the staff is great, and we had lovely meals. As one of the staff members said: "I like to work here, it's not a place where they want to make profits, everything is put back into preserving the elephants ", and that is how it felt very much for us.

Aabadi Mountain Camp ligger i Khorixas og har bjergudsigt, restaurant og bar. Petrified Forest Khorixas ligger 30 km fra lodgen. We spent two fantastic days in this mountain camp, surrounded by peaceful nature. A special thanks goes out to the chef Marysne who surprised us with delicious dinners out of nowhere. They have just taken over this place and we were last minute guests, nevertheless she could manage to put together amazing meals. Mongetti, our host, new in his role did a great job to welcome and look after us. The location is exceptional, nearby the touristic attractions, you need a car, organ pipes, burned mountains, Twyfelfontein site and elephant safari (strongly recommended, much less busy than etosha). At the back of the camp, on the top of the hill you can see a stunning sunset. I would definitely come back.

Eddie and Lettie were such wonderful hosts. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It's a quiet place with wonderful stargazing opportunities. Lettie's cooking is delicious, and we had a wonderful time having a chat with them after dinner.
