Cherry Homestay - Hoàng Đế motel ligt in Chau Doc in de regio An Giang en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. This was easily the most amazing stay on our 3-week- Vietnam trip so far (and the other stays were also pretty good). First of all, the rooms were spacious, the bathroom was also big and everything was clean. And the owner Sora really made us feel at home from the very beginning and looked out for us so much. Not only did she cook the most delicious breakfest every morning (you had so many different options and she always adjusted it to vegetarian or other diet requests). Big recommondation: try the vietnamese breakfast options! She also gave us some vietnamese sweet treats or snacks so that we got to know typical snacks from the region. She also helped us with making plans to explore the surroundings and arranging the transport to your next destination. Communication was super easy- if you had a question you could always text her and she always answered so quickly. The location of the Homestay is at a small road not directly at the busy main road so it is not too noisy.

Kim Ngân Motel ligt in Chau Doc. Het pension is voorzien van ook gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. De receptie van het pension kan je tips geven over de omgeving. Is een flink stuk verwijderd van het centrum. Maar dat is niet het ergste. Ze spreken bijna geen woord Engels dus handen en voetenwerk. Ergste was dat ze gewoon onze gereserveerde kamer hadden weggegeven.

The room was spotless, and the bed was top-tier comfortable — easily one of the best I’ve experienced at this price point. The air conditioning was strong and refreshing, a great relief from the heat, and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. I appreciated that the staff allowed us to leave our luggage before check-in, and the daily fresh towels, linens, and complimentary water and coffee refills were a nice touch. The reception and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even recommending great local spots to eat. The hostel also offers affordable bike rentals, making it easy to explore both Chau Doc and nearby provinces. The host clearly takes pride in the place, paying attention to every little detail to make guests feel comfortable. The room was comfortable, the location is good. Vi is very helpful, she organized us trantsport to Tra Su forest and speedboat tickets to Cambodia too. I highly recomnendend this place!

First at all the host, such a sweet mannered man he even presented us a welcome fruit plate. The villa is actually brand new, well organise and tastefully decorated, we even enjoy the in-house provided Karaoke. Top place to stay.

The property was conveniently located just a quick walk from the floating market dock. We loved the location, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. It was also very clean. The host was very knowledgeable about tourist attractions.

The room was spacious, clean and very lovingly decorated. We had a balcony from which you can't see the river, because unfortunately there are buildings in the way, but it was pleasant to sit outside. The wifi is very good, I was able to do my work with it. What we also noticed was that all light switches in the room were marked with stickers in English. That was great, so we knew exactly which switch was intended for what. The mattress is hard, which we like very much and the nights were, except for a very noisy arrival, very quiet. We found the owner particularly wonderful. Although she hardly spoke English, we were able to arrange our onward transport with her with the help of the translator app. In addition, an English-speaking friend of hers came to help, who gave us a piece of paper with instructions for the bus drivers. The two ladies were so helpful and we are very grateful for that.

Truc and her family were so kind, accommodating and giving! We stayed for 5 nights and loved the quiet and local experience. We didn’t see another tourist until our last night when another guest was at the homestay. Their home was really nice and had plenty of fans and mosquito nets around the beds. It was nice to just relax in the hammocks and unwind but we also did the floating market tour (which I recommend), karaoke, rode bicycles around town & learnt to cook with Trucs mum. Truc also helped us learn some Vietnamese and arranged our transport to and from her home which was a great help. Thank you so much for everything!!
