Moksham Himalayan Campsite Pangot har bjergudsigt, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering og ligger i Nainital, 38 km fra Bhimtal-søen. We had a fantastic 3 nights stay at Moksham. Right from the moment we reached till the last good-byes, everything was spot on. The hosts - Yashika and Ankit were very hospitable and they have put in their sweat & toil to make this a property what it is. And this has also rubbed on to all staff who work at Moksham. Property has a gorgeous location - overlooking a valley in a sleepy village called Ghuggu Kham near Pangot. You wake up to a numerous chirping birds. And evenings and sunsets are to die for. The food is excellent - in taste and portions. Breakfast was included - It wasn't a buffet, but a number of options can be ordered. The dining area has a very elegant vibe (good music playlists :) ) and it's adorned with numerous books all around. The property is dotted with a lot of flowering plants, which attracts birds, and butterflies. This is a campsite. The tents (not rooms) are well appointed and has everything to have a comfortable stay. Special mention must go to couple of walks we did during our stay (organized by Moksham): Forest Walk and Bird Watching trail. This was ably managed by Deepak, who is very knowledgeable on local flora and fauna. This was made even better by the 3 special hosts (Julie, Bhairav and Damru - the dogs), who were super energetic and entertaining!

Tanuja and her husband Anindia have created unique, thoughtful, and luxurious accomodation in both places They have a close relationship with the local community which enabled us to connect with the locals in a really positive way Tanuja took us on walks through the mountains and the local villages as well as accompanying us to the Dusshera festival and shared with us her deep understanding of local customs , the flora and fauna and history of the region She also was there at the end of the phone to rescue us when we got lost wandering around Ranikhet after a visit to the Ranikhet club! I can’t rate this stay more highly Thankyou so much Tanuja and special thanks to the beautiful Reika and Anita who cooked wonderful meals and looked after us so well at the Earth Cottage
