Even before I arrived, I experienced how extraordinary the team is. I got stuck on the way to the camp, and without hesitation they came to help me. That moment already showed me what kind of people I was about to meet. The tent itself is absolutely outstanding. Every detail is thoughtfully designed, the bed is incredibly soft and comfortable, and having running water and electricity in the middle of the desert feels almost unreal. You feel safe, relaxed, and completely at peace while still being surrounded by the magic of the desert. The food deserves a special mention — it was the best food I had during my entire trip in Oman. Authentic, fresh, and made with so much love. Watching the sunset from the camp was another unforgettable highlight — one of those moments you carry in your heart forever. What truly makes this place exceptional are the people. The staff is not just kind, they are genuinely caring. They constantly checked on my well-being, included me as part of the team, and allowed me to experience real, authentic local life. Out of the 10 nights I spent in Oman, I chose to stay 5 nights in this camp — simply because I didn’t want to leave. The hosts became friends — people I truly hold close to my heart. In the evenings, we gathered around the campfire, talking, singing, laughing, and sharing stories. I even learned how to make traditional Arabic bread. The camp is also very child-friendly, making it perfect for families. This camp is so much more than an accommodation. It is a place of connection, warmth, and humanity. I am already looking forward to my next visit. Highly, highly recommended. 🌅🔥❤️

Moon Light Luxury Camp biedt accommodatie met een terras in Bidiyah. Er is een volledig uitgeruste eigen badkamer met bidet en gratis toiletartikelen. The hosts are really nice, rescuing visitors from being stuck in the sands. The dinner is optional, however, we still booked it as there is no restaurant nearby. I expected it just a meal set instead of a tasty buffet! Me and my partner had a good stay at Moon Light Camp.

One has to stay there to experience the beauty of silence, starry skies and beautiful sunrise and sunset. Ali who is the co-owner and manager of the property was extremely helpful, very friendly and attentive to the guests.

We stayed one night at Thousand Stars Desert Camp and had an unforgettable experience. The camp is located deep in the desert in a quiet and remote setting, perfect for disconnecting from the world. The food was excellent, the restroom facilities were far beyond expectations, and the tent was very spacious and comfortable. We watched the sunset from the dunes, enjoyed a delicious dinner, and spent a peaceful evening by the firepit and under the stars. The stargazing platform was an incredible experience. The team was outstanding. Saddam took great care of us, and Ali was extremely welcoming and guided us perfectly, sharing insight into desert life and Omani culture.

An absolutely unforgettable stay in a truly peaceful and beautiful desert camp. The serene atmosphere, delicious traditional Omani food, stunning tents and fun activities, together with the incredibly friendly and genuinely hospitable guide Hamid, made this a magical experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend to people who would like something quite , serene and a notification free experience ;)

Desert waves camp bevindt zich in Bidiyah in de regio Al Sharqiyah en biedt accommodatie met gratis privéparkeren. Vliegveld Internationale luchthaven Muscat ligt op 199 km van de accommodatie. This was a wonderful experience and we enjoyed so much about it. Saud has created a beautiful, quiet, comfortable space for a small number of people to have an intimate experience in the desert, an homage to his experience growing up in Bidiyah. From beautiful tents to private bathrooms to wonderful food, Desert Waves is an amazing place to experience the desert, the stars, the scenery and experiences like camel rides or visits to local spots. We met some lovely people (fellow travelers) in the camp that we shared meals with, and Saud and his staff are very helpful, informative and friendly. FYI, two taxi drivers from Muscat quoted us 50 OMR each way to drive us to Bidiyah, and renting a car ourselves was less than half of that amount.

Rashid is zo aardig en een geweldige gids. De tenten zijn zeer comfortabel ingericht en liggen privé. Het diner en ontbijt waren echt goed verzorgd.
