I loved everything about the place. The location, the view (forested, down the hills) the proximity to the Crystal bay (and Pandan beach), the quietitude as opposed to all the loudness in popular beach towns - all of it. It's around a group of 6-7 traditional bungalows that make up the Tinsi. It's a family-run operation, and seeing everything just so, going about the usual, is beautiful. The food.. where do I start. I tried their cap cay chicken and chicken curry for dinner, and it was SO good, I immediately picked up my phone to write a note of appreciation for them. I even considered extending my stay for a week at the place: it was anyway rainy, and i would have loved to spend some more time to myself here. But, as life goes. I promised to myself that I would return soon.

The location is stunning. It sits on a hillside overlooking the lake. The surroundings resemble a small botanical garden. Aside from the location, everything works properly too (hot water, toiletries etc.). The breakfast was delicious.

We could rent a scooter and go for dinner to a very good Warung, which our host recommended us with a beautiful view. The breakfast is served on the terrace of our room in front of the forest, really lovely. Everything was perfect for us!

So spacious, clean and quiet. Staying with Wayan was a treat, he's a lovely caring soul. He took me to his school and it was fun teaching a bit English and observing how classes are taught. The food was great and so was the non-toristy stay in Sibetan village.
