I have been traveling for the last 3 years, jumping from hostel to hostel, and this is the best stay I've had. the couple who were there helping us were the sweetest humans on earth. they went above and beyond to connect with us and make us feel comfortable and welcomed. it felt like a family on christmas morning! the food was absolutely phenomenal. Massive portions as well. The cabins are adorable, with tons of blankets to keep you warm for a great night of sleep before your adventure. The location is slightly out of town, maybe only a 10-15 minute walk. Which isn't a bad thing, it was nice and quiet so you can get lots of rest. I would absolutely, 100 times over recommend this place for Soraypampa!

The location is situated a few minutes from Santa Maria and it is a perfect starting point both for various activities organized by the lodge as well as for reaching Hydroelectrica by car/moto/taxi and then walk to Machu Picchu. From here it is also possible to walk a part of Inca Trail. We decided to extend our stay for an extra night since we found a piece of home here! Thanks for everything! Very recommended!
