This was an amazing experience! Viraj and his family greeted us at the top of the mountain with tea, followed by a short hike down to the camp. It’s situated on a remote mountain surrounded by tea plantations and absolutely peaceful. In the morning you can see a beautiful sunrise from bed and the family prepares the most delicious breakfasts, dinners and BBQs. Unfortunately we were both a bit sick but Viraj’s family took great care of us, prepared some herbal drinks and drove us to a doctor and pharmacy where they translated everything. Thank you very much! Would definitely recommend!!!

It’s a clean well equipped cottage tucked away in the mountains surrounded by nature. Excellent kitchen- with cooking facilities, Laundry - with washing machine and clothes dryer. Absolutely beautiful location and villa. I’ve stayed in a lot of villas in Sri Lanka and this is hands down the best. We had transport problems and the host and owner were so understanding and accommodating. One of the best weekends of our lives, would 10000% recommend to anyone.

The location is amazing. Peaceful with great views, and close access to the railway line beneath. So it is a good starting point for climbing Mount Ella and seeing the waterfall. A nice walk along the tracks or the road into town, or a TukTuk is always ready to drop or pick you up. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious, they catered to my vegan preferences without hesitation. The room was new and clean and the view of the train track beneath is probably the best location in Ella. I loved relaxing on the balcony in the afternoons watching the train and walkers on the tracks.

The room was very clean, the view amazing, the bed very confortabile and the breakfast just delicious. We had omelette, fruits, pancakes, tea and coffee, rotti. The host very welcoming, helped us with the laundry. We booked it for 2nights but we stayed one more night, as the location was amazing.
