We loved everything about the cottage. It was much roomier than we expected and the view over the bay was stunning, though the drive up is not for the faint hearted. The kitchen is set up for proper cooking, and the outdoor BBQ was also a perk.

Zhanna and her husband were greeting us with warmest welcome. While he showed me where to park the car my fiancé got a tour through the house. It is a perfect place to enjoy your time on the island. In Zhanna's hideaway you have spot to chill, a spot to barbecue, a spot to hike. There is also a fresh water spring nearby to fill your bottles. Definitely coming again!

The cosy style, the sea view, the location (easy access Funchal and all the activities of the island). Catarina was a great host. I recommend it and would be happy to stay there again whenever I’m back at Madeira.
