This is a hostel that feels like a home. The house is both spacious and cozy and the owner, Lilly, is very friendly and helpful. When I was there it was a bit cold so I was inside most of the time, but I can imagine in summer the poolside area is also a great place to stay. The beds are very comfy and the curtain gives you some privacy. It's not the cheapest hostel around, but it's worth it!

Charles and Nadine were a delight to stay with. The catamaran and facilities were very comfortable and welcoming and in the ideal location overlooking the town and the boats around, not to mention the perfect sunsets. Charles and Nadine prepared an excellent breakfast as an included service and when we asked for dinners, we were given a proper treat which the local restaurants couldn't touch. The entire situation was such a treat and we were so very well pampered. Thank you Nadine and Charles!!

Chalet Monchique is a perfect bolt hole - amazing exterior and equally wonderful interior too, with tonnes of space for relaxing and unwinding. My husband and I worked remotely there for a week and were super comfortable. The WiFi was extremely fast, and there were lots of great spots to explore at the end of the working day. Great facilities and spotlessly clean.
