We felt so lucky to discover Mathilda and Aryan’s place on the river near Lake Koman. We originally stopped for just one night before taking the ferry, but easily could have stayed several more. The setting is beautiful, with great hiking trails and a working farm where we enjoyed grapes and fresh produce right from the garden. The pool was perfect for an afternoon dip, and Mathilda and Aryan were such warm and generous hosts. Dinner with them is a must, the food and company made the experience unforgettable. The road getting there was a bit rough, but we just took it slow in our rental car and were fine and it looks like it should be finished in a few months. We’d love to come back and spend more time hiking, especially up to the fortress on the hill behind their house

The kitchen doesn’t have a stove, but there is an electric cooker, so you can prepare something for dinner. The check-in and check-out were very easy. We could pay either in cash or by card. The hosts were very friendly, and we would definitely recommend this accommodation

So warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Any small concern I had, he handled immediately and made sure everything was just right. I even asked him to help me surprise my husband with birthday decorations and a cake and he arranged everything so beautifully for a small extra charge. Honestly, this was more than just a stay, it was a whole experience. Absolutely worth the trip from Dubai. Thank you so much for making it unforgettable!

Best views of the mountains, good for walks, lovely and friendly people. The cabin we stayed in is very cosy and comfortable. Very peaceful surroundings.
