Truly some of the best food we've had on our trip. The surrounding environment is absolutely breathtaking — calm, natural, and perfect for anyone looking to relax and recharge. It's the kind of place that feels like a hidden gem. Xiao Mei went above and beyond in every way — supporting us with everything we needed, always with a smile. She's more than just a host; she's the heart of this amazing place. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to feel connected, relaxed, and well taken care of.

Zhangjiajie Southgate Flower Garden Lodge at the Park Entrance ligger i Zhangjiajie og har bjergudsigt, restaurant, et fælles køkken, bar, have og grill. The room was clean with reliable hot water. The owner provided a daily shuttle to the South Gate, and breakfast was freshly made—the rice noodles, date cakes, corn, and especially the yellow peaches were delicious. The owner’s wife even cooked an amazing stir-fried pumpkin with meat! What truly warmed our hearts was how she helped carry our luggage to the bus stop, so we could take the scenic shuttle directly. Highly recommend staying here—we’d happily book 4 nights again!

The location was absolutely perfect, offering a clear and stunning view of Tianmen Mountain. The room itself was beautiful, well-appointed, and equipped with all the amenities you could need. The hosts were incredibly kind and generous, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! The location was not only quiet and peaceful, overlooking a beautiful landscape, but also very convenient. It was just a short distance from the Tianmen Mountain cable car, making it easy to explore the area. The airport and train station were also easily accessible, which made travelling to and from the property very simple. It’s the perfect balance of tranquillity and convenience. Our hosts, David and his wife, were exceptionally kind and generous. They made us feel truly welcome from the start and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They even shared their Autumn Festival celebration with us, prepared a lovely breakfast, and thoughtfully arranged a taxi for our departure. Their home was beautiful, and their warm hospitality made the entire stay incredibly pleasant, leaving us with wonderful and lasting memories.

We had an excellent stay at the Yang Family Courtyard Homestay. Our host, Longjing, was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. Initially, we weren’t sure if staying near the west entrance of the park was a good idea, as we couldn’t find much information online—being the less touristic entrance. In the end, it turned out to be a great choice and very convenient. The best part of entering from the west entrance is that you go against the flow of the crowds. We were there during high season and saw long queues forming in the direction of the east entrance. Longjing helped us book everything in advance, suggested the routes we could take for the next day, and drove us to the west entrance every morning (just 5 minutes by car) and picked us up every afternoon to return to the homestay. Her help was invaluable, as most of the information available is in Chinese. The homestay is very new and well-equipped. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable. Since the homestay is located away from big cities or towns, they offer the option to have dinner on-site. The ingredients are sourced directly from their garden, and the chef’s cooking is absolutely amazing! We definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
