Shiv Shakti Yogpeeth Cottages ligt in Rishikesh, op 40 km van Mansa Devi-tempel en 15 km van Ram Jhula-brug. Shiv Shakti is a unique and peaceful location outside the hustle and bustle of Tapovan/ Rishikesh. The staff are all very helpful and the home cooked vegetarian food really good. The daily yoga practice was a great way to start the day and the constant sound of running water in the nearby waterfalls very relaxing.

It’s a good budget family guesthouse in haldwani. Located in a quiet residential area a bit far from the center, it is very calm and quiet. Rooms are simple, nice and cheap. Rohit the host is a very sweet and generous person (he even upgraded my room for no cost). I only stayed briefly but enjoyed my stay and would definitely come again if i have the chance

Nivaas ligt in Sawāi Mādhopur met uitzicht op de bergen en heeft een restaurant, roomservice, bar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en terras. we had a wonderful stay at nivaas. Food was delicious and staff very caring and friendly.

Tree House by The Forest Pinnacle and Café, Jibhi is gelegen in Jibhi in de regio Himachal Pradesh, en heeft een balkon en uitzicht op de rivier. Beautiful two bed treehouse with Jacuzzi, Location is far from conjusted jibhi and Tandi, approachable to Soja.

Jawai's Wildness Lodge bevindt zich in Bera met uitzicht op de bergen en heeft een restaurant, een kinderclub, bar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en speeltuin. This lodge has only been up and running for less than a year and I believe we were amongst the first European visitors. The lodge has a great pool and dining area. Food was super value for money and freshly cooked. Very friendly low-key professional service. The thing really to highlight though it’s the extra mile at the staff went to. Our son forgot his mobile phone in the taxi that dropped us off at the lodge and one of the team drove 30 minutes on a motorbike to catch up with a taxi to get the phone back. That same evening they also took us on an individual guide tour around the village and down to the lake where we saw crocodiles jumping into the water. The landscape in the region is quite unique and absolutely stunning. The leopard tour was a wonderful experience and not only gave you the chance to the whole range of wildlife but also to see the surrounding countryside we did both the morning and the evening tour but if you can only do one, I would recommend the morning.

We had an absolutely lovely time at Cedar Hill Lodge. They’ve recently renovated the property and the rooms are very comfortable with cute interiors and everything you need. The common room is cute and cozy, and they have an outdoor area where you can chill and work with great views of the mountains. There’s also an open deck where we spent time stargazing. The sunrise and moon rise from here are simply stunning. The chef Jogan whipped up some delicious meals for us, including very good continental food. The place is run by Atul and Garima, who were super helpful with recommendations around the area. Babloo took good care of us and ensured that we had a comfortable stay. Do note that the place is in Chharabra, about 25 minutes away from Shimla. For us this was an advantage since we wanted to be away from the crowds. There are some restaurants nearby serving good food. It’s just across the road from Wildflower Hall, and is also very close (walkable) to a temple and the Rashtrapati Niwas. There are nature trails. We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with breathtaking views!
