We had chosen this place for a day of relaxation during our Iceland trip and didn't regret it. It's a very tranquille location in a beautiful setting close to a river. The house itself is absolutely amazing, in particular the hot tub on the terrace.

A cosy little house and as the name states it is little (height wise). I banged my head on a few spots, I stand at 184cm tall so if you are taller be careful. Plenty of amenities provided, nice kitchen and lounge. Bedroom was upstairs with a little ladder to climb on. Everything was clean and tidy, good wifi.

We had a great one night stay in Dalahyttur, the surrounding ist amazing, the rooms brand new, warm and comfortable. The hosting woman is amazing, and so were dinner and breakfast. We had a delicate storm that night, but we fehlt secure and cosy.

Very clean and peaceful. Thank you for a lovely stay. Although it looks far away from everything, only a very short drive to Stykkishólmur so best of both worlds.

A beautiful and very modern cabin in a serene setting with almost no one around. Exceptional attention to detail with nothing left to chance. Excellent shower and bathroom. Very spacious, super modern even by hotel standards, with a really comfy bed. Top to bottom glass walls with beautiful views over the bay with seals (telescope included!) - watching them was great! Supermarket less than a 5 minute drive away. Hosts were wonderful. If you are the area and looking for peace and quiet, look no further - very highly recommended!

It's a really nice place, calm, everything necessary was there, very comfortable and a great location.

Large 3 bedroom cottage with a lounge/diner/kitchen, complete with 2 sofas and a large dining room table. This is the perfect place for a stop in the Westfjords and for exploring Flateyri. Not to mention the stunning mountain views all around.We were a bit worried as other reviews said there were no sofas but that has changed now, all the cottages have them.
