The hosts have recently taken over the campsite and are very friendly and always willing to help. Communication was mainly in Italian (the hosts are patient and are not bothered by our poor Italian or resorting to Google translate every now and then), but often a young lady that speaks English is present. For nice walks, you can for example drive (15 min) to Albergo Rifugio Stella Alpina (perfect road).

The place is spacious, warm even if we booked only 20 minutes before arriving, comfortable, super clean, well located and the owners are unbelievably nice! Even the way they welcomed us was so much better and warmer than how you usually get greeted and have straight to do check-in, give ID etc. They deserve to be known and for people to stay at their place. It was my birthday, which I didn't mention, but they noticed and had a particular attention for me which melted my heart. Thank you so much!

Only 3 km from the center of Bormio, Chalet La Rugiada features accommodation with access to spa facilities, wellness packages and steam room. Exceptional stay! The property was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. The host was extremely responsive and helpful with local tips. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Great location
