This was a one bedroom lodge with its own deck overlooking the jungle and beach. It was rustic but v well appointed - we loved the geckos in the roof, and watching fireflies at night. Hibiscus beach is beautiful and a 10 min walk away is a fantastic cafe where you can eat in the beach and watch the sun set.

Really good food!!! :D The owner and staff are amazing! They were very lovely and even made us homemade donuts on the house!! The lodge is very spacious and comfy! We also rented a motorbike which was in very good condition. Absolutely recommend the place! 11/10 :D !!!

The Last Frontier Boutique Resort ligger på en 100 meter høj bakke med udsigt over Kinabatangan Forest Reserve i Bilit, 2 timers kørsel fra den smukke Sandakan. The resort is very well managed. Host is super friendly and we felt well taken care of, including delicious meals, great experiences on outdoor activities and the cozy room. Although the resort located in the middle of the mountain, everything is in good condition and very clean.

For the middle of the jungle, they have a great setup for all you need. The meals were fantastic and the staff super friendly. We were so lucky to see the Borneo 5 and the highlight was some orangutans and a herd of 50+ Pygmy Elephants. A wonderful trip. Mark our tour guide was fantastic.
