Our stay at Ranis Lodge was absolutely wonderful and truly unforgettable. The villas are extremely comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils, and we especially appreciated the small but very useful details such as lunch/pack boxes for the beach, beach towels, and other essentials that make your stay so easy and relaxed. The villas are designed in a way that gives each guest complete privacy, so you can truly feel at home and fully unwind in your own space. One of the most special parts of staying at Ranis Lodge is the incredible wildlife surrounding the villas. We were lucky to see beautiful monkeys almost daily, a wild civet cat (black with a reddish collar), black hornbills, and an amazing variety of birds in stunning colors—from bright blue to vibrant yellow. We also spotted around five different species of lizards. It all feels very exotic, yet completely safe, adding a magical atmosphere to the experience. The villa owner is incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. A special thank you to Alif, who takes care of the villas—he went above and beyond for us. He helped organize the best tours, arranged massages directly at the villa, and was always ready to assist with anything we needed. We are truly grateful to him for making our stay so smooth and special. We had an amazing time at Ranis Lodge and will carry these memories with us for a long time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, privacy, nature, and a touch of tropical magic 🫶🌴

Ambong Rainforest Retreat offers an adult-only getaway amidst tropical surroundings. Located on a steep hill within the rainforest, rooms are only accessible via long staircases. The view, the space, the bed, architecture, the facilities were all there for us to use and enjoy. This was truly home away from home, actually, it was better. You are woken up by the birds chirping in the morning. Amazingly, the pool was super warm both day and night. We stayed in the pool until 10.30pm and it was warm the entire time. The view was AMAZING! We were there when the paddy was young and green and it provided an amazing backdrop while we swam, one can not look away. En. Niezam provided us with breakfast in the morning (upon request), and it was delish. I think of all the stays I've been at in Langkawi, and this is probably the 101th trip, this was the best place I've stayed at. So good we refused to leave early on the day we depart and extended another half day. En. Niezam was very helpful and polite and was easy to communicate with in person and Whatsapp. He attended to our needs the whole time we were there. Thank you En. Niezam!
