We stayed at Kumba Lodge for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The place is stunning, beautiful location. It sits on a unspoilt part of the beach with no constructions around. From our bed we watched the sunrise :-) The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the stay had a homely feel. The food was delicious (even the bread was homemade). Excellent yoga classes in an ocean facing yoga shala are a wonderful addition to the stay.

Vertigo Lodge is an oasis in the middle of Tofo. It is a well-curated, clean, spacious place with great attention to detail. Situated in a quiet area away from the noise of town, it is the perfect place to switch off and relax, yet close to the beach and the main attractions. The owners, Colleen and Jumbo, ensured we were well looked after, and the attentive and caring staff made our stay unforgettable. It's a special place I'm sure I'll visit again-highly recommended! Tip: Ask for Pedro for your transfers and trips to and from the beach/town. He's great!

Sam welcomed us warmly and even came to pick us up in Tofo village. We had booked a hut for two people without a bathroom, but to our surprise, they upgraded us to one with a private bathroom! I had an amazing seafood pasta at the lodge restaurant, definitely a must-try! The chef was very friendly and so was the barman; both were super kind and helpful. They gave us very clear directions on how to walk to the village along the beach, which was great. The place is absolutely beautiful! You can watch the sunset among the palm trees and the sunrise over the ocean
