Rustic cabin with wood stove, wood burning sauna, beautiful views, well equipped kitchen. I enjoyed getting a tour of the hosts beautiful Norwegian elk hounds and Alaskan malamutes. There’s even a bbq hut but we didn’t use it. Friendly hosts and lots of peace and quiet.

We stayed at the hotel for a few days and were very pleased. The location is perfect — quiet, surrounded by forest and beautiful nature. Special thanks to the staff! Everyone was very friendly, attentive, and ready to help in any situation. You can really feel that they care about their guests. The room was clean and cozy, with everything we needed. We enjoyed both breakfast and especially dinner — everything was tasty and made with care. A great place for a peaceful getaway. We will definitely come back!

At bo på Holmen Husky er en oplevelse langt væk fra at bo på et almindeligt hotel. Vi ønsker, at vores gæster kommer tættere på naturen og får en smagsprøve på, hvordan det er at bo tæt på... The challets are fantastic. So cozy and comfortable, and the view on the woods thru those big windows... it's like you sleeping in the nature but in a most comfortable bed. Dogs are nice and the people very open and friendly! I had a very late check-in and they were kind enough to let instructions for me on how to get to my challet, breakfast hours and so on! Definitely a place to visit!

Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel ligger 10 km fra Alta by og 500 m fra Alta-floden. Beliggenheden er omgivet af skov og byder på gode vandre-, ski- og cykelstier lige fra sommerhusdøren. This vacation was a once in a lifetime experience. The location was perfect to see the northern lights, the restaurant served food of the quality of a Michelin star restaurant, and the staff was extremely friendly. Even though the location was quite remote, there were plenty of activities to do. PS: it is also a great place to propose to your girlfriend - a guaranteed YES (from personal experience) :)

You have a fully equiped lovely timber cottage for yourself, and if you keep all the lights off you can see when the Northern Lights appear… It doesn’t get any better than this, I’ll be back!
