We had a truly excellent stay at Hotel Porta e Alpeve. The rooms were very comfortable and spotless, and the facilities were modern and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, and the dinners were just as good — a real highlight of our stay. The hotel also has a lovely playing area for children, which was a great addition for families. Above all, the staff were exceptionally welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, which made the experience feel very special. It was the perfect mix of comfort, great food, family-friendly facilities, and outstanding hospitality. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed for 4 nights and had an absolutely wonderful time. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby throughout our stay. Our host went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience, constantly taking care of our needs. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like part of the family. The food was a highlight of our stay. The host is an excellent cook, and the meals were simply delicious. We were treated to a variety of local dishes made of local ingredients, which gave us a true taste of the region's cuisine. The host was also very helpful in recommending places for us to visit and explore. The location itself is perfect for discovering Theth by car. The surrounding area is breathtakingly beautiful, making it an ideal base for our adventures. We had a safe parking place as well. The hotel was in a great location. The owner was really accommodating and helpful. He helped us with arranging travel to Lake Komani and even made us a lovely pack lunch to take with us. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

The host, I believe called Niko, was very friendly and hospitable from the start and throughout our stay. He helped us find the hotel when our maps weren’t working and helped with bags and recommendations. We were provided with a welcome gift as it was our anniversary and this was a lovely touch, thank you so much! Everything was spotlessly clean and super comfortable, I believe freshly renovated. Rooms were modern but the building itself maintained traditional charm and it mixes the two together. Location 10/10. Set back off the Main Street overlooking the garden, it was serene. We had dinner in the garden restaurant one night too and the live music makes a great atmosphere. Breakfast was good too. Well worth the price paid and I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Really friendly hosts who were always happy to help with everything you could ask for. Amazing mountain view and a really nice breakfast to enjoy on the balcony. Plus a super cute dog who demands taxes/pets every time you enter the facilities. Remember to bring cash (Euro or Lek) for the payment as it might be a bit tricky finding a bank that does not take a high commission in Shkodër.
