EVERYTHING! The couple owning the place are one of the nicest people we’ve met. They treated us like family or close friends and helped us with everything. They truly made us feel at home. The house itself is super cozy and beautiful. It was made with love and u can feel it in every meter of the place. We were supposed to stay there for one night but loved it so much we decided to stay for 2. The location is amazing. You have a view at the mountains and loads of beautiful routes for long walks. I think this was one of the best, if not the best booking I’ve ever made.

Wonderful accommodation! Very spacious. Really well designed and restored with lots of character. We loved staying here even though it is quite far away from many facilities. We loved the remoteness - the village is so sweet (my young son brought his bike and cycling around the little village where people were so friendly to him). The landscape surrounding the village is incredible. We arrived late at night and did not need dinner, but you would need to plan in advance if you did because there was no shops or restaurant open (there was in another nearby town). I think you can arrange dinner through the hotel though. Owners very friendly. We stayed here as we were driving from Barcelona/Costa Brava to Madrid via Montserrat and wanted an interesting and affordable place to stay. Highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay!

An earlier part of the family trip had been stressful, and this little place was welcoming and its traditional charm with the wooden beams, lovely old rooms and the small balconies with the swallows flying in and out to their nests, and sometimes a cat on the street were so peaceful. When my granddaughter and I went hungrily to the café by the cathedral food had stopped. But they made us potatoes and mayonnaise. The home owners are so kind too. It is really relaxing and peaceful. A favourite place. Lovely walks by the river.

Really friendly staff. Lovely old-fashioned hotel. Good location virtually on the main square. Large supermarket nearby. Large room with easy chair and two backless seats making it easier to put on/take off your shoes after a long hike.
