I had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful beachfront property! From the moment I arrived, I was swept away by the stunning views, relaxing atmosphere, and warm hospitality. The vibes here are truly something special. The on-site restaurant was a highlight of my trip. Every meal was exceptional – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Chef Irini is a true culinary artist, and each dish felt like it was made with both skill and heart. The cocktails were equally impressive, perfectly mixed and a joy to sip while watching the sunset. My personal favorites Esspresso Martini and Himarita. A special thank you to Spiro, our wonderful host, whose friendly energy and attention to detail made me feel right at home. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure every moment of my stay was perfect. If you’re looking for a place by the beach with incredible food, great drinks, and genuine hospitality, this is the spot. I can’t wait to come back!

Great find, lovely hotel ( looks quite new) steps away from the beach and with friendly staff. Beds are super comfortable and pillows as well. Shower had pressure and always hot. Breakfast served in there restaurant in front of the beach was lovely to. You can pick as many items as you want and coffee and juice. Good service all true out. Good parking under the hotel as well for no extra charge. Location perfect to move around the beaches from Dhermi and Himare. Thank you so much.

I loved the view of course but the owner, Artemis, was my favorite part of the stay (which is saying a lot because everything was truly wonderful). She instantly made me feel like family, always providing quick answers to questions and incredible restaurant recommendations, and teaching us about her family and the history of Himare. She is such a special person and this place emanates that same special quality. Don’t hesitate to book this place, it was our favorite hotel experience of our five week trip through four countries. I am SO particular and literally have zero notes or complaints. Thank you Arti and your baba for building/transforming this into such an incredible space!

It's all marvelous! The hotel is beautiful, the owners are amazing people that are very helpful and generous. Exceptionally clean and safe. You get an exclusive vacation when staying here and the views are dreamy every second of the day. The breakfast it's a feast. We enjoyed walking to the beach and around town and the road to the hotel filled with wild fruit that we picked and ate. It's worth millions.

It's a great place to relax, do nothing, and enjoy the beach, followed by local restaurants and a stroll along the small promenade. Sometimes there are beautiful sunsets. Boat trips are also available.

Lovely location, beach is easily accessible.

Lovely location, beach is easily accessible. Restaurants are across the beach, boats are available to explore secret and pristine crystal water beaches for swimming and snorkeling. Also, Himare castle which is also a worthy place to visit.

We really liked Livadhi beach.

We really liked Livadhi beach. It is not too large, was quiet when we visited (late September), and has beautiful views. It is a pebble beach, so can be a bit challenging to get into the sea. The water was clear and had a very nice temperature. There are several restaurants and bars, as well as some small supermarkets where you can get essentials if you want to cook yourself. For eating out, I recommend Dimitri's, which is at the entry to the beach. Great food (Greek inspired), very reasonable prices and efficient service. We did visit the main strip of Himare one evening but were not impressed. Could be anywhere (Greece, Spain etc.) and the food we had was average at best.

Himarë is the kind of place that captures your heart the...

Himarë is the kind of place that captures your heart the moment you arrive. The town is small but full of charm, with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly locals. You’ll find everything you need: beaches, restaurants, little shops, and a touch of authentic Albanian hospitality. The beaches are truly the highlight. From the main Himarë beach along the promenade to the smaller coves near Prinos, the water is crystal clear and inviting. Street parking is free and accessible. For those who love exploring, having a car is a must—nearby treasures like Porto Palermo, Aquarium Beach, and Gjipe (which requires a short but rewarding 2 km hike) are absolutely worth it. Himarë has both the charm of a quiet village and the energy of a seaside town. You’ll enjoy fresh seafood, traditional Greek-Albanian dishes, and the simple pleasure of strolling along the corniche at sunset. It’s not overly touristy yet, which makes it feel authentic and special. The only thing I didn’t like? That our stay was too short! Two nights are not enough for Himarë: it deserves much more time to be discovered and enjoyed. And next time, I won’t leave without trying the famous Greek gyros at one of the local restaurants. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a mix of beautiful beaches, authentic culture, and a peaceful yet lively atmosphere. Himarë is definitely a destination to return to.

Very cozy little town, amazing mountains.

Very cozy little town, amazing mountains. Has everything you need. Several grocery stores. Nice people, program options, hiking, crystal clear water everywhere, free beach, sunbeds if you want. Pleasant evening music. Good restaurants. The Great Chimara tour was amazing!!!

Himare is the perfect beach getaway - everything you need while not being too big or too crowded. Access to water activities and other close beaches. Furre Buke - Pastiçeri Himara just out the back - everything there was delicious.

Staff there were extremely kin, thoughtful and really helpful and able to assist with anything. Got chatting to some people in the lobby and receptionist even got us rooms next to each other! - Ended up becoming friends and going for dinner with them that evening! Private beach was really nice too! To be completely honest, we had a nightmare in our previous hotel in Ksamil, coming to Seaview hotel in Himare really rounded out our time in Albania and left us with a more positive note, having left Ksamil with a very sour experience.

Family managing the hotel are the kindest. I can't thank them enough for all the help and recommendations they provided us about beautiful Himare! They serve breakfast everyday between 8 and 10. It's full of delicious homemade food and typical bakery (we loved byrek). Also, bedroom was elegant, clean and truly comfortable. Kind regards from Spain to our number 1 accommodation in Albania! We hope to see you soon! Ευχαριστώ :)

Really nice hotel, lovely bright hotel room. Right in front of Livadhi beach, with sun loungers provided for free. 10 minute drive/50 minute walk into Himare itself. 30 minute walk to the pretty Akuarium beach. Theres several other restaurants next door as well as the hotel restaurant. Friendly helpful staff, helped us carry our suitcase upstairs as no lift. Breakfast in front of the sea was nice. Very good value for money

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Karos Hotel. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, just like the rest of the hotel’s facilities, including the swimming pool. George and the entire staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The location was also perfect, with many beaches around Himarë just a short drive distance away, making it easy for us to explore the area!

Room/bathroom are cute and clean. Room has a view for Himare beach which is super beautiful. Both the lady and the gentleman who were there when we arrived were gentle and solved an Wi-fi issue we had (Wi-fi worked very well afterall). Room is not as spacious as the ones from the other hotels we stayed, but it was ok. Good location.
