The host and his family were very very kind to us and went to great lengths to make it us comfortable. They were flexible with our eating hours and checking out. It was so nice to see them work together as a family. Also, the place is a bit remote but that’s why we loved it so much. You really feel like you are in a small local village. We went on a hike one day just next to the accommodation. It’s very special to be able to walk in nature with literally nobody else. We would highly recommend this place!!

We really liked the peaceful countryside setting, just a short drive from Gjirokaster but far enough to feel like a true escape. The peaceful countryside setting was a perfect escape from the busy town, offering fresh air, quiet surroundings, and beautiful views of the mountains and nature. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. We especially appreciated the tranquil atmosphere, which made it easy to relax after exploring the city. It felt more like visiting a home than just staying in a hotel. Just a note: all rooms were equipped with air conditioning, which wasn’t clear from the photos. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat close to Gjirokaster with an authentic countryside feel, Center Village Villa is a fantastic choice. We only stayed one night, but we’d happily come back for longer and with a bigger group.

A truly unforgettable stay! My husband and I had an amazing time during our stay. We enjoyed absolute peace and quiet, surrounded by endless greenery and right next to a historic site. The food, prepared by Gero, was absolutely delicious from traditional local dishes to his authentic pizzas, everything was full of flavor and made with care. But what truly made our experience special was the incredible team. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and we definitely made new friends. A special mention goes to Agush ,unbelievably funny, full of energy, and truly the heart and soul of the hotel. He will forever have a special place in our hearts. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Lona, the location of the village and the Girokastra valley combine to form an explosive cocktail. What an awesome place! It is run by this nice family, and our main host Maradona is THE BEST. He told us to park our car and he drove us wherever we needed to go, he was very kind to answer all our questions, really one of the best hosts we ever had. The room we stayed in was sparkling clean, with comfy bed and great view. Breakfast was very good, we had some traditional Albanian foods, and you can even have a lunch and dinner at the place for ridiculously small amount of money. Just imagine the beautiful village with sweet hardworking family that runs a small traditional hotel and works hard on making sure guests are happy, comfortable and well-fed - that is Hotel Bebej! I strongly recommend this place!

Hotel Gjirokastër is located 300 metres from the centre, in a part of town famous for numerous museums.

Fantastic hotel with the best staff. The rooms are very beautiful and clean, with great views. And a pool! The hotel is very close to the sights and old bazaar. Amazing breakfast! A home away from home, I recommend!
