The hotel was clean and welcoming. The staff was helpful and friendly. The arranged a cab to the airport for me in the middle of the night. I liked the location of the hotel, it was in the middle of old center. That’s exactly what I wanted to feel the local vibe. I wish there was more diversity to breakfast, but it was pretty filling.

The location might be the best in Durres. Beautiful restaurant "in the garden" right at the beach, which is probably the cleanest and the nicest one in the city (notwithstanding the vicinity of the port and a construction site next door - not really a bother). The service is 5 star, absolutely excellent, anything you need someone from the kind staff will do for you. The food in the restaurant is exceptional. A wealthy breakfast is hands down one of the best I have had in a hotel (and I have been to many). We can also highly recommend trying some fresh catch of the day (and/or crudo) for dinner, paired with an excellent Albanian wine. Another big plus is the free bikes (and you are right on the cycling path that will take you quickly to downtown Durres). I wish we would get a sea view room (they were sold out) but the garden view one was not bad either: cleaned every day, extremely comfy bed, and a nice balcony. It can get a little noisy but hardly disrupts your sleep.
