I stayed for the Areni Wine Festival weekend, spending both Friday and Saturday nights at this property. It was perfect, as I didn’t have to worry about taking a taxi back to Yerevan after enjoying all the delicious wine. I arrived in Areni on Friday afternoon via private taxi, but Martin and his father, the hosts, kindly arranged a mini-van to take me back to Yerevan on Sunday morning at a very reasonable price. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for things to do and see in the area. The terrace boasts stunning views, and my room was spacious and comfortable. Although breakfast isn't provided, there’s a wine shop nearby where I was able to grab coffee and bakery items. A mini-market is also just a short walk away, where you can find essentials. All in all, I highly recommend this place. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Areni town center, which is safe and well-lit – you just follow the main roads. The Wi-Fi is fast too.

The hosts make you a part of the place and you don't want to leave. The nature and the property are breathtaking. In the morning there is the best personally prepared and traditional breakfast. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Thanks for the hospitality.

The family is so nice and welcoming, you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Everything is made with love and great hospitality. They've cooked me a really nice armenian dinner with a wine sampling of their homemade wines. Value for money is amazing. The location is right in the center of Areni next to the local shops. Walking to the Church is only 15min.

We had by far the most comfortable stay during the entire trip around Armenia. Very clean, everything is new, and all the facilities are available. Breakfast is included! And the dinner, which we took extra on one of the days was also good.

This a great guesthouse in Areni. The room is in a separate building, it is very spacious with living room, bedroom and bathroom. Everything is very clean. Air conditoning works well and is needed. It is in the living room but cooled down the entire space.The yard is a beautiful garden with grape vines, flowers, fruit and nut trees. We had breakfast and three dinners with them and all were excellent, varied and had large portions. On arrival we had a tour of the winery, and then did a wine tasting over dinner. The wine is excellent. The family is very kind and welcoming, they gave us a bag of fruit from their garden when we left.

Areni has a lot to offer.

Areni has a lot to offer. Noravank monastery, Magellan cave, Areni Church, Wineries. One thing not to be missed is a skeleton of a dam-like architecture from Soviet era, 30 minutes walk from the village.

I cannot rate this hotel any higher than a 5 star experience, the attention to detail is superb and nothing is too much trouble for the charming hosts Armine h and Len. Don't think twice about booking a mini break here you will be given a 5 star welcome and experience!

Beautiful place, the hostess offered a wonderful vegetarian...

Beautiful place, the hostess offered a wonderful vegetarian dinner and breakfast, as well as a tasting of her own wine and brandy. They told us about the history of the area and we went on a short hike through the beautiful places of the area. Overall we are very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend to others!

It can be difficult to get to and get back to the city.

It can be difficult to get to and get back to the city. The Yandex GO app doesn't work here. You can either hitchhike or find someone to share transport with. The place is beautiful and away from the city, especially between May - October. It's also wine country.
