Extremely nice place, lovely family (with a very funny child) that is very welcoming. They let you feel like you are part of the family. Breakfast is great, dinner is great (you can order dinner), there is lots of snacks during the day. The Host reminded me of my grandmother by constantly giving me something to eat. Host and hostess speak Armenian, and decent French, Host speaks Russian, Daughter speaks good English. One of the best places I have ever been.

The garden was beautiful for picnics and the owners were so friendly, giving us fresh produce from their garden. It was very hot in summer but there was a fan for the bedroom which helped. Really nice spot to base yourself to explore the wine region

They - and also their granddaughter Susi - are such a kind people that make your visit an amazing one. Also they offer a very delicious dinner - the best Durma!! I stayed for the Areni Wine Festival weekend, spending both Friday and Saturday nights at this property. It was perfect, as I didn’t have to worry about taking a taxi back to Yerevan after enjoying all the delicious wine. I arrived in Areni on Friday afternoon via private taxi, but Martin and his father, the hosts, kindly arranged a mini-van to take me back to Yerevan on Sunday morning at a very reasonable price. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for things to do and see in the area. The terrace boasts stunning views, and my room was spacious and comfortable. Although breakfast isn't provided, there’s a wine shop nearby where I was able to grab coffee and bakery items. A mini-market is also just a short walk away, where you can find essentials. All in all, I highly recommend this place. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Areni town center, which is safe and well-lit – you just follow the main roads. The Wi-Fi is fast too.

A wonderful place near the cave and the Areni factory. It is very good to read books and admire the natural beauty by the mountain river near the hotel. The hotel has excellent modern rooms according to all standards of convenience and quality, a chic bathroom with a jacuzzi (well, if you have a Deluxe room::)). Walking around the entire territory there are many different interesting locations (khachkar, different varieties of grapes, tables under the trees...) The hosts are polite and hospitable, always working, and there are a lot of plans for development around the hotel. In general, I recommend it. Now in the village of Areni there is a great place to stay!

The family is so nice and welcoming, you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Everything is made with love and great hospitality. They've cooked me a really nice armenian dinner with a wine sampling of their homemade wines. Value for money is amazing. The location is right in the center of Areni next to the local shops. Walking to the Church is only 15min.
