Over Christmas & so never did a great deal, even though there is plenty to do. A water park for the young ones, the local weir about 10km out is a popular water hole too, bowls & RSL with a couple of pubs. A couple of big name supermarkets, fast food & cheap shops.

The location is easy to access off the highway, the layout and what is provided in the room is well thought-out, the bathroom was spacious and had plenty of hanging hooks. There was also plenty of power points and the room looked and felt recently refreshed.

Chinchilla is a nice little country town with all the amenities you'd need. I have been coming out here for almost 50 years so have seen the town change a lot in this time. Plenty of accomodation to choose from with also quite a few different places to choose from for meals/drinks.

We would recommend the RSL they food was amazing and good...

We would recommend the RSL they food was amazing and good prices and family friendly, we also used the courtesy bus to get there and back. It was easy to find what you needed around town. The parks were lovely.

Absolutely fabulous ~ after a short 2 night 3 day stay ~ I wouldn't mind leaving the city life & move there. The warm & welcoming PEOPLE of the town really made it so wonderful ~ it's a community to be proud of. Keep smiling ~ keep shining Chinchillians!

I regularly attend Chinchilla for work. The Acacia Motel is the only motel I would stay at. Certainly, the best value and with the improvements over the past 12 months, the Acacia Motel is in my opinion the best accommodation for comfort, entertainment and price point. The highly detailed themed rooms continue to be the highlight of my trips. The motel is also ideally located within 2 min walk to KFC, Subway, Domino Pizza and several coffee shops so you don't have to get back in the car to go out.

This is our Accommodation go choice when we require Accommodation in Chinchilla. Working distance to Main shopping area/ RSL/ Cinema/Cultural Centre/ Library/ Coffee Shop/Chinchilla Botanical Gardens. If arriving late you can access good quality Meals at the Hotel until 9pm. Rooms are always quiet and well maintained. Heaps of Parking both within the complex as well as street parking where you can park Truck if need be
