The professionalism of a bigger operation and personality of a small business. Staff were exceptional. It's hard to fill an old building with antiques and not make it feel fusty - this was anything but! Absolutely worth staying for dinner too - we weren't sure what to expect but booked in out of convenience more than anything and were very pleasantly surprised.

Great place to visit if you're interested in outdoor...

Great place to visit if you're interested in outdoor activities. It can be quite cold and windy though, even in summer, so check the weather forecast and bring appropriate clothing. Mt Victoria is a very small community, so be prepared to travel for some things - Katoomba is only a 20min drive away and has everything you would need (including sightseeing!).

Mt Victoria is the Western gateway to the beautiful Blue Mountains. By staying there, you are able to explore all of the attractions that the Blue Mountains has to offer. And in a reasonable time, too!

Mount Victoria is a great place to stay.

Mount Victoria is a great place to stay. Away from the crowds of Leura and Katoomba with lots of lovely walks nearby. Thoroughly recommend the Hydro Majestic Wintergarden for High Tea on a Sunday. The Grand Canyon walk near Blackheath is so pretty. Very busy walk (ie lots of other bushwalkers) but worth it for the prettiness of the walk. Could be challenging for some though.

Most wonderful atmosphere to spend Xmas in July lunch. Just like being in England. A couple of quaint shops very close. Across the road & a short walk up the hill is The Hoteletico. Extensive menue & wonderful staff.

Mount Victoria is the perfect point on the Blue Mountains to stay. Close, but not too close to everything, both down towards Katoomba and also west, toward Lithgow and Bathurst. It's gorgeously picturesque. Quiet, stunning and the perfect place to recharge and relax. It's a small village, so not a huge amount of shops or eateries - Blackheath is close if you are looking for that sort of thing.

A lovely escape to a world easily forgotten, wonderful antiques adorned the guest house and the staff were quite lovely. Yes quite different from your up market city hotels but its quaintness and surrounds were perfect.

A wonderful large old hotel with lots of different spaces to enjoy and good amenities (restaurant serving evening meals and continental-style breakfast, bar, outdoor areas, open fires, library, games/tv room, large east-west facing balconies). The staff were helpful and we appreciated the trainee staff and their assistance. Congratulations on being a training platform for people with disabilities and providing an inclusive environment. Very special.

The a la carte breakfast was amazing. My partner has to take photos of each meal as it came out and the fruit and grains were all fresh and crisp. The decor is straight out of design magazines and the hotel sets a new standard in cleanliness on all surfaces seen! Paul or amazing host was both very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about the local area and places to see

Was a lovely, cosy stay in Mount Victoria. Felt homey as soon as we walked through the door. The house had all we needed, including a yard for the dogs to run around in, an indoor fireplace to relax next to at night and a nice bath tub! Only downside is that it can be a little noisy with the street and big trucks travelling up and down it.

Fantastic heritage hotel with amazing staff. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble . Beds were super comfy and the food in the restaurant was delicious . Perfect location for hiking around the blue mountains .
