Our stay here was faultless and very memorable. We had two sets of fussy parents with us who aren’t easy to please and everyone adored it. The place is squeaky clean, beautifully finished, and we enjoyed a memorable afternoon on the veranda and had a BBQ for dinner. The kitchen is equipped perfectly and leaves you wishing your own house was in better order! We also did the wine tasting experience with Ali who we cannot rate highly enough, her passion for wine and great customer service come across in spades and the wines were all exemplary. We sat tasting them overlooking the Schubert estate vineyard - it all sounds cliche but it was very perfect!

Nuriootpa and its very close neighbour Tanunda are the ideal...

Nuriootpa and its very close neighbour Tanunda are the ideal locations to stay for the wine regions of Barossa and Edin Hills. They are driving distance to the Adelaide Hills and Clare Valley which make fabulous day trips. There are great restaurants and fabulous wineries all through the area. You will need a car to get the most out of this area but be smart and book one of the private day tours of the wineries so everyone can have a try. It is lots of fun. Don’t miss Laughing Jack winery. It has limited opening days (Friday and Saturday only) but is well worth a bit of organising to make it. Great Red wines at very reasonable prices. Tomfoolery is a fun winery with lots of character. Be sure to ask the origins of the names of the wines as there are some very funny stories. Try 1918 for a fabulous meal.

Ours was a family trip to celebrate a 60th birthday.

Ours was a family trip to celebrate a 60th birthday. I compared Casale with a luxury hotel (The Louise) and Casale. The hotel would have cost three times what we paid at Casale, but in hindsight, Casale was three times better than the hotel because of the ample, private communal space where we could hang out together.

Went to use, a Chocolate and wine tasting we had won in a lottery! as it was going to be hot booked into The Vines as it had a pool I'm glad we did it was so good to have a swim during the heat of the day! Chocolate factory was excellent who would've thought that chocolate actually does go well with wine! Special thanks to Julie (Jools) for her expertise in her job!

Extremely clean and tidy with an obvious pride displayed by all businesses and citizens. Nuriootpa obviously has a very well organised public persona and local council! The Barossa Foods Supermarket was sensational, easily the best organised and staffed I have ever seen. The quality of fruit and veg was 100%.

Booked for a quick overnight stay to go hot air ballooning. Enjoyed the mini golf and bowling, however as someone who doesn't drink alcohol, there wasn't really a whole lot else to look at besides wineries.

We were welcomed by the friendly host Rebecca with a lovely locally produced cheese platter. Breakfast the following morning was combination of eggs from her own chickens, local muesli, local yoghurt, preserved plums from her own garden and locally produced (whole meal) bread for toast. Absolutely delicious and set us up nicely for the day! Highly recommended for a short stay for couples in Nuriootpa 😊

Casale was in a great location, away from the town centre of Nuriootpa but a short drive from everything we needed. The accommodation was set among vines and olive trees and it was pleasant to sit outside at the end of the day after touring around.
