Wonderful retreat in the McLaren Vale. Welcoming hosts with helpful advice. Well maintained accommodation. Spotlessly clean and well presented. Private and quiet with off-street parking. Oil and balsamic vinegar were available to prepare a salad with our meal.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful place - every detail there is thought of and is clearly seen that created with great care. Very comfortable, clean and good location. The garden was simply amazing and we had a great breakfest there. Pity we didn't have more time to spend here!

The location and facilities in the home. It's probably the cleanest place we've ever stayed at. All the beds were so comfortable. The extra little things like the gift that was there for us when we arrived. The information book was so well done. I would definitely book this place again and highly recommend this beautiful home

It's a great place in a convenient location, with great vibes. Definitely enjoyed staying there. The original plan was to come here for the Astrophotography workshop, as the bach is perfect for that. But as well it was falling for my hubby's Birthday, so it became a Birthday trip. I enjoyed my workshop in the evening, while he could relax at the property, next day we went for Breakfast to the amazing healthy cafe, had a straw on the beach and had lunch at Star of Greece. Decades was perfect stay for our plans.

Only a short stopover but the property had everything we needed Provisions in the kitchen were excellent as well as the bathroom Beds comfy and clean Sam was very quick to respond and patient as we were much later arriving than planned.

We encountered several issues during our stay that made the...

We encountered several issues during our stay that made the experience extremely disappointing. The instructions for using the facilities were unclear and misleading. In the bathroom, there was a sign saying "Do not use the fan," but the fan turned on automatically with the lights, and there was no separate fan switch. A notice in the home recommended turning on the generator two hours before sleep, but there was no generator in sight. When we contacted the host, they claimed the generator no longer required manual operation. We were also given an emergency phone number, but no one ever answered our calls. , we were unable to use hot water in freezing temperatures, likely due to a lack of gas or a malfunctioning system, yet the host denied there was any issue with the gas. Communication was another problem, as the host responded to our messages very late. Overall, the lack of basic amenities, poor communication, and misleading instructions made our stay deeply frustrating.

Sellicks hill has alot to offer for a romantic getaway...

Sellicks hill has alot to offer for a romantic getaway excellent wine, the drive on beach, then walk for miles & can easily find a secluded spot to relax, picnic & soak up the sun. The ocean is beautiful clear water & shallow quite far out, so good for a swim on a warm day. McClaren vale on your doorstep for so much good food, wine, beer, & bike hire the Shiraz trial is a great way to explore some wineries recommend Deluxe Ebikes for hire great price & Foggo for gin, wine & platters. Willunga farmers market on Saturday, food is so fresh, amazing! Recommend the Treetop house to stay at Sellicks hill
