Set in a friendly neighborhood, Thomas greeted us at his very charming house with welcoming smile. The room and the views, everything was just perfect. Breakfast options were all delicious, even better than many hotels I have been to in Europe. Thomas has take so much care and time in curating this BnB. And to our surprise he is a Chocalatier amd Jewelry maker, making some impressive creations. All this made our stay even more unique and worthy of remembering. By the time we booked, hotel rooms in Ghent were pretty full. We felt fortunate to have found this hotel but were really blown away by the staff, by the room itself, and by the location. While this is a short walk from the center of the tourist area, that was a real plus since it meant it was very quiet at night. And in less than five minutes we were in the middle of the tourist action. Perfect. Also, we happened to stay on Sinterklaas (St. Nick's Day) and for guest who left their shoes outside their room door at night, Sinterklaas put treats into the shoes! A nice surprise!

Very friendly and helpful staff - feels like a really well-run family hotel (it probably is). Very clean & comfortable throughout. Breakfast was delicious, with local, premium products (like the marmelade/jam). 24/7 accessibility. Parking onsite.
