From the moment we arrived the friendly service and gorgeous decor really blew us away. We had some of the best food we've had in our tour around Bulgaria. The pool was lovely, clean and quiet and the staff couldn't do enough for us. As a vegetarian they were happy to amend a pizza and the pasta options for non meat eaters were fab. We spent 2 nights here and fell in love with lots of the furniture items and art.

We were in Bulgaria in April, so before high-season. Therefore, at least we guess so, like in many other places in Bulgaria before, we were the only guests at Chalet Balkan. Which might have contributed to an amazingly quiet and relaxing stay in this beautiful place surrounded by nature, impecable service and good food.

The authentic atmosphere of the house, with many tastefully arranged traditional items that make you feel like stepping back 100 years. The secluded location, far from the urban noise, offering complete relaxation. Perfect connection with nature – peace, greenery, and a small river nearby.
